About Dr. Di Giorgio
Dr. Chris Di Giorgio, MD, FACC, FASE, CBNC, RPVI, is a cardiologist with certifications in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, and vascular interpretation. He was a partner in a private practice in Glen Ridge, NJ, and Chief of Cardiology at HUMC Mountainside Medical Center, where he spent years diagnosing, treating, and managing cardiovascular disease, the leading cause of death for both men and women in the United States.
His own weight loss of more than 100 pounds, and years of seeing heart disease after the fact, led him to focus on prevention and early detection. His practice now centers on advanced diagnostics, lifestyle medicine, and therapies that address inflammation, metabolic health, and the long-term health of the heart and blood vessels.

We started Nova because the appointments we were trained to give were too short for the questions our patients were asking. That is why a first visit here is 90 minutes, and why the two of us work from the same plan. We both see patients in Roseland, and we would be glad to meet you.
